RemuNation showing a bi-weekly pay run for Juniper Lane Example Co.: employee pay after CPP, EI and income tax, the employer’s cost, and each employee’s amounts.

The deductions, done carefully.

Every amount comes from a unit-tested calculation engine.

Rate tables and thresholds are being verified against current CRA publications before release; treat preview calculations as illustrative.

  • CPP, CPP2, and EI

Canada Pension Plan contributions — including the CPP2 second ceiling — and Employment Insurance premiums, calculated per pay period.

  • Federal and provincial income tax

Income tax withheld per pay period, federal and provincial, with the Ontario surtax handled.

  • Vacation pay

Vacation pay calculated alongside each pay run.

  • TD1 claim codes

Employee records carry TD1 claim codes, so withholding reflects what each employee actually claimed.

Pay runs with a paper trail.

  • Draft, approve, process

Every pay run moves through explicit states — draft, approve, process — so nothing is paid out by accident.

  • Employee management

Employee records with the details payroll actually needs, including TD1 claim codes.

  • SINs stay masked

Social Insurance Numbers are masked in the interface.

Payments, remittances, and year-end.

  • Direct deposit

Generates CPA-005 bank files for direct deposit.

  • Remittance summaries

PD7A remittance summaries, ready when it's time to remit.

  • T4 and T4 Summary

T4 slips and the T4 Summary generated as XML.

  • Pay stubs

Pay-stub PDFs for every employee, every pay run.

  • Record of Employment

ROE preparation is in progress — not yet complete.
